Obituary for Charles Ardeth Bloom
Charles Ardeth Bloom, 57, of New Millport, passed away Wednesday December 15, 2021 at Penn Highlands Hospital – DuBois.
Born January 30, 1964 in Clearfield, he was the son of Richard Allen Bloom and Nancy K. (Irwin) Bloom. Mr. Bloom was a heavy equipment mechanic currently working for Staar Trucking Co. in Brookville.
He had served in the US Navy, had attended the former Salem Lutheran Church in New Millport, and was a member of the IBEW.
Surviving is his mother of Clearfield; a daughter Sandra Denise Irene Bloom of Madera, two grandchildren: Violet Luna Sky Curran and Alarick Lukas Kai Potter; two sisters Tammy Spencer and husband Dudley of Irvona and Dawn Dizmercado of Columbus, OH; a brother Fred Long and wife Kim of Clearfield; and his fiancée Beth Irwin and her children: Shawn Harper, Kyle Irwin, Kara Irwin, Becky Irwin, Faith Irwin, Jamie Irwin, and a granddaughter Emma Monk.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Rick Bloom.
Memorial Services for Charles Bloom will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville on Saturday January 8, 2021 at 2 PM.
